|Chinese Consulate in Manchester holds Reception to Mark the Successful Visit to Manchester by President Xi Jinping|
Consul General in Manchester Li Yongsheng and wife held a Dinner Reception on the evening of Nov. 16th at residence to mark the success of President Xi Jinping's October visit to Manchester, which were attended by all parties involved in the preparation for the visit.
Consul General Li congratulated on the success of the State Visit and expressed sincere gratitude to local society who had worked closely with the Consulate and made great efforts to ensure the success of this visit. He expected Manchester to seize the opportunities of the 'golden era' in bilateral ties and become the 'fore-runner in China-UK relationship' and 'navigator of China-UK cooperation'.
Lord Lieutenant Warren Smith, Lord Mayor Paul Murphy and Mayoress Anita Murphy, Deputy Council Leader Sue Murphy and Stewart Yip, president of the Federation of Chinese Associations of Manchester addressed the Reception.
