Question:  On 20 March, some Members of Parliament (MPs) of the UK asked an Urgent Question in Parliament, continuing to denounce the Safeguarding National Security Bill. What is your comment?

Embassy Spokesperson: Yesterday, I have stated China’s principled position on the erroneous remarks made by the UK side regarding Hong Kong.

We firmly oppose the unfounded words of relevant MPs interfering in China's internal affairs. We strongly urge these politicians to grasp the situation, stop groundlessly accusing China, stop meddling in China's internal affairs, and stop undermining China-UK relations.
