|Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang's Remarks on Some Japanese Cabinet Members Visiting Yasukuni Shrine|
Q: On August 15, some Japanese cabinet members visited the Yasukuni Shrine. What is China's comment on this?
A: The Japanese government's wrong attitude towards the history issue was once again revealed as Japanese cabinet members paid tribute to the Yasukuni Shrine which honors Class A criminals of the Second World War and beautifies the war of aggression. The Chinese side is firmly opposed to this.
We once again urge the Japanese side to face up to and reflect upon the history of aggression, properly address relevant issues in a responsible manner and make credible efforts to win the trust of its Asian neighbors and the international community.
